whats wrong with kansas?

my brother in law is from lawrence and grew up there. he went to ku and now works there. when i was at his house recently i saw a book on his table that was called something like whats wrong with kansas. he told me a little about it and it basically was written by a guy not really from the state. he grew up in kansas city in a super rich suburb but went to ku. as soon as he could he fled the state to go east and now makes a living attacking the people who paid for his education.

like i need to listen to one more rich kid telling me why im stupid because im christian or im stupid because i dont think president bush is terrible. like all liberals every is stupid except them. only thing thats wrong about kansas is that he ever was here.

Merle, so far you're doing a remarkable impersonation of a pig-ignorant ranting hick, but there's one thing you could improve.

Feigning an inability to write contractions is fine, but the "all-lower-case" schtick doesn't fit. For one, it's too reminiscent of effete literary figures like e.e. cummings and Don Marquis, whom your persona would never have read.

Also, you can't be a proper troll without using a bargeload of words that are in ALL CAPS. It's also HELPFUL to add parenthetical interjections in ALL CAPS (FACT!)

How in the HELL are you gonna achieve the proper pitch of SPITTLE-FLECKED LUNACY if you don't know how to SHOUT IN PRINT?!

Technique does matter, y'know.

I guess it doesn't matter that the book's thesis is that some people are voting Republican even though it turns out those leaders enact laws and rule in ways that harm the very voters who elected them.
Not to mention claiming moral superiority while diddling teens and robbing pensions and pushing gambling and divorcing their third wives.

But if you like to critique books you have no intention of reading, I suppose you don't much care about all that.

Do you, Merle?

Yeah... It's apparent this blog is a parody now...

Another suggestions; use bold as if asserting your words harder will make you more correct!
